		<description>This is so exciting to me! Funny how something so simple as growing a carrot can feel so amazing. I work on a computer all day so to get my hands dirty and dig into the earth and grow something is a wonderful experience. I&#039;m also proud of it as it&#039;s much better for the environment to eat local food — and what&#039;s more local than your backyard! — as opposed to food  that is shipped hundreds, if not thousands of miles.

Mom, I&#039;m hoping the next time you come out to San Francisco you can give me a few pointers!</description>
