urban

one of my most recent projects is for my digital imaging 2 class
we are working on a more concept/thematic work that tends to lean more in the fine art world than it does commercial
which is a nice balance to the highly commercial work i am doing at the bstro

these pieces are in there first draft and will undergo at least one more round of revisions
i’ll post those once they are completed to give you guys an idea of how a piece can transform over time
i’d love to hear your comments and suggestions for possible improvement

.

the creative b’stro has offered me a full time position and i am slowly working towards accepting that offer
i have been working with them for almost 3 weeks now and i am loving every bit of it
they are being kind enough to allow me to indulge myself with a lot of different aspects of what goes on there. from designing web comps to logo design to pre press production. i am getting to do a little bit of everything
i am now trying to tie up my old freelance projects and jobs so that i can place more focus on working at the bstro

i am working with france press my old employer and finding a replacement for my leave so that i can focus on my work at the bstro
i am also starting to finish a freelance project for redesigning promedia/ultrasound’s website with my good friend eric toledo
it has been slow going mostly due to the lack of responsiveness from the client but we hope to speed this project up soon and get it under a faster production schedule
i’ll keep you posted once we get some feedback over our current designs that we are waiting to present

i am also working with the Lymphoma Research Foundation to create the graphic design material for this year’s 2005 Rosetta Gala. you can find out more information about that, at the website i am creating for the event at rosettagala.org this is sort of a first draft of the website as time is a huge constraining factor for this project.

more coming
