Join the B’stro dancers in a happy holiday hoedown

Friday, December 14th, 2007

This is a little goofy holiday card we (Creative B’stro) sent out to our clients. It was very well received. It’s not a serious piece, but it is fun. Click on it to see the real action.email.jpg

Ature (previously known as Bones)

Sunday, December 10th, 2006

I have renamed my typeface to “Ature”
It does not have any specific meaning other than being the name of my first typeface.
For digital typography class I had to create a poster design to promote my font design. We where given a variety of requirements (visible grid, photos of people or parts of people)
I’ve created 2 designs so far. In ways I like them. In other ways I don’t. Work in progress.

My first typeface.

Thursday, November 30th, 2006

I’ve been working on my first typeface. It’s slowly starting to take shape and I’m slowly starting to like it. It still needs a lot of work, but I thought you guys might like to see what I’ve been working on the last few weekends.

Here is the spec sheet for my class in pdf format:

And here is the same spec sheet as a regular web image:

If anybody has suggestions for the design or the name of the font, especially the name of the font. I’m not a huge fan of “Bones.” Anyways, suggestions are welcome.

Abstract Photo

Sunday, October 22nd, 2006

I was working on some package designs at work and I created some interesting textures. This one was my favorite, although in the end we wound up not using it. I didn’t want it to go completely unseen. So here it is.
