After over 3 Years I’m still Cancer Free!

Sunday, January 27th, 2008

I got another PET scan of my full body. I haven’t done this since a few months after my initial treatment. The initial scan after my treatment was an important one to make sure that the treatment had rid me of all troublesome cancer cells. But it is this scan that is the one that is truly worth celebrating about. After 3 years even a tiny amount of left over troublesome cancer cells would have had time to resurface. But they didn’t because they are gone. I’m cancer free and I feel like I’m in better health than I have ever been in my entire life. When I received this letter in the mail there was a very happy, relieved and joyous smile on my face.

Thanks to everyone who supported me during that time. I know your support was a bit unorthodox as I didn’t really want the usual type of support. But I promise, it was appreciated all the same. Thanks goes out to my doctor and the wonderful nurses at California Pacific Medial Hospital. Special thanks to my Mom, Dad & Carmen. You three made the most sacrifices for me. Thanks.
